I'd really recommend going with Rackspace Cloud if cost is an issue. You can get a 256MB cloud server for around $11 a month. Bandwidth isn't included, but it's very cheap. I generally spend only a couple of dollars a month on bandwidth. Anyway. Those are my thoughts. I think after being with Linode, you'll find (mt) to be very disappointing. I really wouldn’t do it. My server is running at VPS.net and it's pretty damn fucking awesome. 1 node would give you 600Mhz of dedicated CPU usage, 376MB of RAM, 10GB storage and 250GB of bandwith. For now I would probably do this for about 10 euros a month or so as I already have a server set up. Hit me on Skype or MSN if you want to. p.s.
